Janine Woronuk graduated with a BEd from the University of Alberta in 2003, and her Masters of Secondary Education from U of A in 2022. Since then, she has taught all subject areas in a small community school of 100 students and more recently, Social Studies and LA in a large junior high with 600 students. In the 2015-2016 school year, Janine created a new CTF course called ALC 9 and documented the journey of her students as they completed unique Challenges based on a passion of theirs. Janine is looking forward to sharing her journey with the new CTF curriculum by showcasing the hard work her students did in ALC 9, but also through her development of 2 new CTF courses for the 2016-2017 school year: The History of Music and Scrapbook it! Currently, Janine is an Assistant Principal at Ecole Champs Vallee School in Beaumont, Alberta.
